MGE Engineering, Inc. (MGE), founded in 1990, has offices located in Sacramento (Corporate), Oakland, Placerville, Long Beach, and San Jose.

MGE provides civil/structural engineering and construction management services to public agencies and private industry for the planning, design, construction, maintenance and repair of transportation in­frastructure, water resource structures, and other civil works.  As a prime consultant, MGE has successfully managed numerous contracts for local agencies, Federal “Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity” contracts with the U.S.D.A. Forest Service ,U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Caltrans “on-call” contracts.  In addition, MGE has participated in State and local agency contracts as a subconsultant to provide transportation design and inspection services. 

MGE’s civil and structural engineers have been responsible for design of roadway extensions, realignments, widenings, and rehabilitation. The firm’s engineering experience includes nearly all surface transportation modes: auto, truck, rail, bus, bike and pedestrian, as such, MGE can provide design expertise for:
