MGE developed an economical alternative repair scheme to tieback retaining walls consisting of a reinforced concrete cantilever side-hill slab roadway section with metal beam railing to restore the width of the existing road on a steep hillside. MGE prepared the design and PS&E for the repair of an 80-foot section of Gibraltar Road damaged during previous flooding. Plans also include traffic control details.
